Brief Biography
Dr. Ahmed Temtam received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Old Dominion University, Virginia. He also holds M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from Bradford University, England, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Microelectronic Systems from the University of Liverpool, England. Following his doctoral studies, Dr. Temtam served as an Adjunct Faculty Member in the Electronics Engineering Technology Department at ECPI University, Newport News and Virginia Beach, Virginia. He also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Research Foundation at Old Dominion University, where he contributed to federally funded interdisciplinary research projects.

Dr. Temtam’s research interests span several core areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering, including digital and wireless communication systems, advanced signal processing, spectrum sensing, and cognitive radio networks, with a strong emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and machine learning. His work also includes biomedical image analysis and image processing, integrating signal processing and AI techniques to develop impactful solutions for medical imaging and healthcare applications.
